The new KERMADEC mixer range is the latest exciting addition to our family of products.
Since our family business began in Hamilton New Zealand, in 1935, Greens Tapware has created innovative and affordable products for use throughout New Zealand and the world.
We are proud of our heritage and the fact that today our design and much of our manufacturing still takes place in Hamilton. The new KERMADEC range continues this proud tradition.
The new KERMADEC range like the rest of our products meets international quality standards including the Australian and New Zealand standards mark. This is your guarantee they comply with Building Code requirements including the use of non lead leaching and non toxic materials for healthy and safe drinking water.
Environmental
We take our environmental responsibilities seriously. Water conservation is one of the key issues facing countries throughout the world, even in New Zealand where we have abundant rainfall there is a need to conserve and manage this precious resource.
The KERMADEC range has been developed in response to this environmental challenge and meets the stringent Australian WELS water conservation standard with a 4 star rating.
The QL cartridge inside the KERMADEC also allows you to save water by adjusting the water flow limiter.
The KERMADEC range incorporates the Greens QL cartridge with the following features.
- Adjustable anti scald ring which prevents accidental scalding
- Long life drip free ceramic discs
- Inbuilt muffler for quiet operation
- Non return valves for easier mixing
- Adjustable flow limiter to conserve water
- Large inlets for better flow in low water pressure systems
- Internal reinforcing plate for longer life and 10 year warranty
Suitable for all water pressures.
There are two main water pressure systems common in New Zealand homes.
Mains pressure systems and Unequal pressure systems.
The KERMADEC range is suitable for both types of New Zealand water pressure systems and the QL cartridge can operate with either very high or very low pressures.

Resource Responsibility
A key goal of FPB is to minimise our impact on the planet. When building or renovating, choosing more eco-friendly products helps to reduce our carbon footprint, and protect the planet for future generations.
Greens QL cartridge allows you to save water by controlling the maximum flow of water using an adjustable flow limiter. The adjustable anti-scald ring allows the maximum hot water temperature to be controlled, this reduces hot water usage and saves energy. The brass internal body and other components can be recycled
Energy Efficiency
The cost of energy is rising so future proofing your home against expensive energy consumption makes good sense. This means using less energy, therefore saving you more money.
The anti-scald and flow limiter in the Greens QL cartridge allows you to use hot water more effectively as well as reducing total water consumption.
Sound Control
One of the most common problems a home faces is noise pollution. There are many ways to future proof your home against noise pollution, including low noise tapware.
Greens QL cartridge has an inbuilt muffler to diffuse the flow of water inside the mixing chamber. This significantly reduces the operating noise, particularly in mains water pressure systems.
